Abakar Kazbekov is 18 years old.
Born in Moscow, Russia.
He is the son of an international master of sports in freestyle wrestling Zaur Kazbekov.
The elder brother of Abakar Kazbekov, Gadzhi Kazbekov, ended up in the GTHL (Toronto Big Hockey League) in 2017.
Before moving to Canada, Abakar Kazbekov played in the Russian youth teams “Rus” (Moscow) and “Vityaz”.
Played at the championships in Moscow, Russia.
First, in Canada, Kazbekov began to play for the Vaughn team, playing 21 matches in the 2019/2020 season.
In 2021, one of the strongest teams in the Ontario league, the London Knights, selected Abakar Kazbekov in the OHL draft under the first overall number.
Kazbekov made his debut for the London Knights in 2021. Due to injury, he played only nine matches, scoring one goal.
How Abakar Kazbekov died
On December 18, 2022, The London Free Press reported that Kazbekov’s body was found on the morning of December 17 under the windows of an apartment building in central London, Canada.
It is assumed that Abakar Kazbekov fell out of the window.
