Evgeny Nuzhin was born in 1967.
In 1999, Nuzhin went to prison for murder 24 years.
He was then given another 4 years for an escape attempt.
He served his sentence in the town of Skopin, Ryazan Region, Russia.
In July 2022, Nuzhin was recruited to serve in the Wagner PMC and fight in Ukraine.
September 4, 2022, Nuzhin surrendered to the Ukrainians.
Is Evgeny Nuzhin really killed?
On the evening of November 12, 2022, the Gray Zone telegram channel, which is associated with the Wagner PMC, published a video that allegedly depicted the murder of Yevgeny Nuzhin.
The murder in the Gray Zone publication is presented as “the punishment of a traitor.”
On the morning of November 13, 2022, the founder of PMC Wagner, Yevgeny Prigozhin, called the video “an excellent director’s work.”
Presumably, Nuzhin was returned to the location of Russian forces as a result of an exchange of prisoners.
