Who is Anton Lystopad and did he really die in the war in Ukraine

Anton Valentinovich Lystopad – Ukrainian soldier, captain, and military pilot of the 2nd class of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It is mentioned in the decree of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.

Biography

Anton Lystopad was born on September 17, 1991.

In 2008 he graduated from the Physics and Technology Lyceum of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Council.

Then he studied at the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas, Kharkiv National Air Force University named after Ivan Kozhedub.

In 2010, he signed a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In 2019, he was recognized as the best pilot in the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Anton Lystopad led the aviation group of the air column in the parade of troops in honor of the 30th anniversary of the Independence of Ukraine.

From the first days of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, Anton Lystopad stood up for Ukraine.

On June 17, 2022, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky awarded Anton Lystopad the Order of Courage, III degree – for personal courage and selfless actions shown in protecting the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, loyalty to the military oath.

Is Anton Lystopad really dead?

On August 14, 2022, the Ivano-Frankivsk Physical-Technical Lyceum, of which Anton Lystopad was a graduate, reported on Facebook that Anton Lystopad had died.

He was 30 years old.
