Who is Dmytro Burdyko and did he really die in Vinnytsia

Dmytro Burdyko is called the colonel of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

For the first time, a message about the death of Dmytro Burdyko appeared in the stories of Konstantin Burdyko on his Instagram page.

So, on July 14, 2022, Kostyantyn Burdyko, who indicated in his profile on his Facebook page that he was from Vinnytsia, but lives in the Dnipro, published a screenshot from the messenger:

“Daddy, are you okay???”

“My dear daddy, I don’t believe …”

“Tell me you’re fine”

And he added his comment in Ukrainian:

“The moment when my life was divided into “before” and “after” with crying emoticons.

Then Kostyantyn Burdyko made another post.

“Rest in peace, my beloved father. You have been defending the sky above our head for 31 years… But you have not been able to protect the sky above your head.”

On July 17, 2022, Kostyantyn Burdyko made the third post.

“Rest in peace, my beloved…” he wrote, posting a black and white photo of a Ukrainian serviceman with a “Burdyko” sign on his chest.

On July 17, 2022, a post by Olga Gritsenko also appeared on Facebook.

“Hello, a dear community of f/m Igren (talking about the city of Dnepr), Odinkovka, Rybalsky. Unfortunately, we have another sad news. 07/14/2022 Another hero, Colonel of the Ukrainian Air Force, Dmytro Burdyko, died. The funeral will take place tomorrow, Monday 07/18/2022. at 11.00 o’clock at the Odinkovskoye cemetery, farewell to the address: st. Pink, 30. Please leave from 10.30 – 10.45, on the street. Memories in the direction of the cemetery (dead end of minibus 22) in order to worthily spend the hero. The funeral is at 11:00, please make a live corridor approximately along the same route around 10.30 – 10.45, ”she wrote in the Igren Events group.

In the decree of the President of Ukraine for 2018, on the occasion of the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel Dmytro Grigorovych Burdyk is awarded the medal “For Impeccable Service”, III degree.

Burdyko Dmytro Grigorovych is mentioned on the website of the Unified Center for the Processing of Court Decisions in the administrative case of the Vinnytsia City Court related to traffic.

At the same time, there are no details anywhere else about who Dmytro Burdyko is and whether he died during the strike of Russian invaders on Vinnytsia.
