Biography
Roman Kutuzov was born in 1979.
From 2002-to 2010, with the rank of colonel, he commanded the 38th separate communications regiment of the Airborne Forces of the RF Armed Forces.
From October 2017 to August 2018, with the rank of major general, he served as commander of the 5th Combined Arms Army of the RF Armed Forces.
In 2019, Kutuzov served as commander of the 29th Combined Arms Army of the RF Armed Forces.
In 2019-2020 – Chief of Staff of the 29th Combined Arms Army of the Eastern Military District of the RF Armed Forces.
In 2020, he led a military parade in Chita in honor of the victory of the USSR in World War II.
In 2022, Kutuzov began to command the so-called “army corps of the DNR”.
On February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin launched a large-scale open war against Ukraine.

On June 5, 2022, Aleksandr Sladkov, a correspondent for the Russian state propaganda TV channel, reported that Roman Kutuzov had been killed in Ukraine.
It was liquidated by the Ukrainian military in the village of Nikolaevka in the battles for Popasna, Luhansk region.
Kutuzov became the fourth Russian general whose liquidation was officially confirmed by the Russian side.
