He wrote about this in his telegram channel.
“I spoke with the soldiers fighting in Bakhmut. As of 13.20 today, May 21, units of the defense forces continue to hold the defense in the city. We are talking about the last buildings where it is actually physically possible,” Sternenko said.
According to him, the situation is very difficult, but, as Sternenko notes, the statements of the Russians about complete control over the ruins of the city are not true.
