It is noted that thanks to this project, mobile complexes for servicing F-16 have been introduced in Ukraine, which are constantly being hunted by the enemy – Russia.
This project was implemented by the Ukrainian fund “Return Alive” with money from the Ukrainian state company “Ukrnafta”.
“The F-16 is the most complex Western equipment in this war. Almost all over the world, only stationary solutions are used to service these aircraft and aviation weapons. However, the enemy is hunting Ukrainian airfields. “Return Alive” at the request of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine purchased and transferred to the Air Force the first mobile complexes in the country for servicing aircraft of a new model. This was possible thanks to the contribution from the state-owned company “Ukrnafta”, which donated UAH 49,438,176 to the project,” the message says.
The complexes form a full-fledged ecosystem that allows servicing aircraft at both main and operational airfields.
Previously, only one ammunition suspension required 10 to 12 people.
The new ecosystem allows the involvement of three and at the same time speeds up the process by half.
Two maintenance complexes include:
– a workshop for training and testing aviation weapons;
– two vans for transportation and suspension of ammunition;
– one pickup truck for convenient logistics.
The mission planning complex includes:
– a working module for pre-flight briefings and maintaining communication with pilots;
– a residential module for operators to rest during long shifts and movements.
