Irina Leonidovna Podnosova (nee Lunyova) is a Russian lawyer, the head of the Supreme Court of Russia.

Biography
Irina Podnosova was born on October 29, 1953 in Pskov, Russia.
In 1975, she graduated from the Law Faculty of Leningrad State University, majoring in “jurisprudence”.
At the same time, she studied in the same year as Vladimir Putin.
In 1975-1978, she worked as a consultant to the Department of Justice of the Leningrad Regional Executive Committee.
In 1978-1979, she became a lawyer at the Volsky Building Products Plant in the Saratov Region of Russia.
Since 1979, she began working at the Volsky City Trade Fair in the Saratov Region, successively holding the positions of legal advisor, senior legal advisor and head of the legal department.
In 1990, she became a judge of the Luzhsky City Court of the Leningrad Region, and in 2003, she headed it.
From 2002 to 2012, she was a member of the Council of Judges of the Leningrad Region, and in 2006–2008 and 2010–2012, she served as its chairman.
In 2013, she was appointed Deputy Chairman of the Leningrad Regional Court.
Since 2016, she has been a member of the Council of Judges of the Russian Federation.
In 2017, she headed the Leningrad Regional Court.
In 2018–2020, she served as Chairman of the Second Court of Appeal of General Jurisdiction.
On July 24, 2020, she was appointed Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation – Chairman of the Judicial Collegium for Economic Disputes.
In April 2024, she became Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation.

Irina Podnosova is married, she has a son.
Her husband is Sergey Podnosov, a military pensioner, deputy chief physician for general affairs at the Perlyna tuberculosis sanatorium in the Luzhsky district of the Leningrad region.
Her son is Yegor Podnosov, a lawyer, managing partner and head of the Moscow office at the PromBusinessConsulting law firm. He is married.
