Biography
Kasia Gallanio was born in October 1976 in Krakow, Poland.
Raised in Los Angeles, California, USA.
She met her future husband in Paris, where Abdelaziz bin Khalifa Al Thani had lived in exile since 1992.
In 2004, Kasia Gallanio became the third wife of Abdelaziz bin Khalifa Al Thani.
They had three daughters: Sheikha Malak, Sheika Yasmin, and Sheikha Reem.
In 2007, Kasia Gallanio launched a luxury gift company called Savoir-Faire.com, which was voluntarily wound up in 2010.
She discovered fraudulent activity in her husband’s Barclays Bank account in Marbella and led a €50m/£40m lawsuit against the bank.
In 2009, Barclays paid an undisclosed amount.
She subsequently filed for divorce and the couple fought for custody of their daughters for ten years following allegations of sexual abuse of their eldest child.
In April 2018, she joined the FC Martigues business team.
