In the spring of 2022, she took part in the Student Football League Cup among women’s teams, and played for the team of Vitebsk State Technological University.

In the football championship of Belarus from 2017 to 2020, Romanchuk played for Neman (60 matches, 1 goal).

Karolina Romanchuk died on May 28, 2022.

“Today, May 28, at the age of 23, Karolina Romanchuk, the instructor-methodist of the Sports School of FC Vitebsk, the player of the women’s team of FC Vitebsk, passed away. We are shocked by what happened and express our condolences to the family and friends,” the message says.
On May 29 Karolina Romanchuk was supposed to take part in the match against FC Dynamo Brest.
“This Sunday our girls will play in the south of the country. Championship of Belarus among women, round 9, FC Dynamo Brest – FC Vitebsk. May 29 (Sunday). The match starts at 14:00. Brest, COR stadium,” the announcement says.
It is also known that Karolina Romanchuk is at the hotel.
“It happened in one of the Vitebsk hotels where the team lived. The ambulance didn’t have time to arrive,” Belarusian journalist, and women’s football specialist Dmitry Sinyak wrote about the tragedy.
In the comments on the post about the death of the football players, they note that the cause of the death of Karolina Romanchuk is cardiac arrest.
