People are looking for who Wylie Dupid is, is this Canadian sniper real, and is he really killed in Ukraine.

Most of these requests come from Russia, the military occupiers from which, on the orders of the international criminal Vladimir Putin, invaded Ukraine on February 24, 2022.

The reason for the surge in such requests is that a video about a certain Canadian sniper Wylie Dupid, who arrived in Ukraine to fight against the Russian invaders, was included in the recommendations on the TikTok social network.

The author of the video happily reports that this Wylie Dupid was allegedly killed.

And allegedly in Mariupol, Donetsk region, Ukraine, which has been besieged and bombed by the Russian occupation troops for many days (read, by the way, who is Marianna Pidgurskaya and what kind of shelling of the maternity hospital in Mariupol).

The author of the video calls this Wylie Dupida one of the most famous snipers in the world.

In fact, we are most likely talking about a sniper from Canada, nicknamed Wali.

This Wali was interviewed by the Canadian edition of La Presse and published in early March 2022.

Wali really went to Ukraine, responding to the call of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to help Ukrainians in the fight against Russian occupiers.

And La Presse published his photo.

Wali does have a wife and the couple have a one-year-old child.

Wali is 40 years old.

He is a former sharpshooter for the Royal 22nd Regiment of Canada.

In 2015, he independently went to Iraq to fight ISIS, and before that, from 2009 to 2011, he was a sniper in Afghanistan.

But neither Wali nor La Presse calls him the best sniper in the world.

He’s just a sniper.

As for the fact that something happened to Wali in Ukraine, there is no official verified information.

How Wali denied the information about his death

On March 22, 2022, the Canadian edition of CBC published a conversation with Wali, where he, in particular, denied rumors about his death.

Wali noted that he had not been to Mariupol, but was in the Kyiv region.

According to him, he has not yet killed the Russian invaders, but he is studying the situation, closely following them.
