On May 12, 2023, the media reported that Alexander Karakin crashed in a night race in Moscow on the 30th km of the Minsk highway.
He flew into the bump at speed, after which his Nissan GTR was thrown into the middle of the road.
First, Karakin was taken to intensive care, but later he died there.
